BREAKING POLITICS 11:30pm 4-22-08 CNN: "Clinton Wins Pennsylvania" - Thumps Obama by 10

ROAD TO THE WHITE HOUSE:  PENNSYLVANIA From CNN (By: Tom Pace, Talk of the Town)  BREAKING POLITICS  11:30pm  4-22-08   Hillary Clinton claimed victory tonight in the Pennsylvania Democratic presidential primary, according to CNN.  In a highly expensive television advertising contest, Barack Obama outspent Clinton 3 to 1...and yet, he loses the state's popular vote.  Sen. Clinton vowed: "I'm in this race to fight for you..."

The big question, "By how much would Hillary win by?" was answered tonight. Clinton wins soundly over Obama 55-45...a 10 point win - which translates to an old-fashioned thumping.
While "A win, is a win, is a win."  Hillary proved she has staying power, slowly closing the gap.

"If she wins Pennsylvania by a hefty margin, she can prove she can win the traditional Democratic constituencies needed to win the election, mostly white working-class voters," said Gloria Borger, a CNN senior political analyst.

Could a double-digit victory make Clinton the comeback kid once again?

"If Clinton wins by more than 10 points, which was her margin in neighboring Ohio and New Jersey, her campaign will have new momentum and she will soldier on," said Bill Schneider, also a CNN senior political analyst.
