Breaking 5pm, 2-4-08: Montrell Hardman Wanted for Shooting at BCPD & SPD Officers in Custody

BOSSIER CITY, LA (By: Tom Pace, Executive Editor, Talk of the Town) Breaking: 5pm, 2-4-08   22 year-old Montrell S. Hardman,  turned himself over to Bossier City police this afternoon at about 12:45 pm at Bossier City police headquarters. 

Hardman was booked into the Bossier City Jail on a charge of attempted first degree murder for shooting at a Bossier City police officer Saturday night (February 2nd) while officers attempted to pull him over in the 500 block of Yarbrough Street, in Bossier City. 

Hardman's bond in Bossier, is set at $1 million dollars. He also faces a charge of attempted first degree murder for allegedly shooting at an off-duty Shreveport police officer last week on Interstate 20. Shreveport Police obtained a warrant for Hardmanís arrest on that charge today.

On the Shreveport charge of attempted first degree murder, the Judge set no bond, but on Hardman's warrant from the Bossier Police, the Judge set a one million bond.

Hardman is currently in the Bossier City jail, awaiting transfer to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility, in Plain Dealing, Louisiana.
