MUSIC 6-23-08 B.C. Teen Emma Meeks to Compete in Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Auditions

BOSSIER CITY, LA  (By: Tom Pace, Executive Editor, Talk of the Town) BREAKING MUSIC NEWS 10pm 6-23-08  "The Talk of the Town with Tom Pace" has learned that sixteen year-old Bossier singing sensation, Emma Meeks has entered in this Saturday's audition competition for the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Showcase. 

The auditions are being held June 28th, at 300 West Panola Street, in Carthage, Texas. The annual Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Showcase draws hundreds of contestants from across the region, all competiting for five coveted finalist positions for the August 15th event.

Fresh off her 3rd Place win in the recent Music City Rising Star competition
Miss Meeks will be singing an arrangement of the Dolly Parton hit, "Here You Come Again" accompanied by l
ocal guitarist, Cole Vosbury.    

Emma will perform in the Solo Vocal Category for non-professionals with live accompaniment with guitar or keyboard only.
