BREAKING 6-27-08 Jindal to Veto Pay Raise? Tucker Says, It's OK. Jane Smith to Gov: "Do it!"
Recall petitions are being filed. Jindal promised to not allow a pay raise, and now he's trying to straddle the fence. Yesterday, House Speaker Jim Tucker cracked the door open to allow Jindal to veto the bill, saying "We would understand."
Bossier State Rep. Jane Smith spoke "One-on-One" with Tom Pace about Jindal's dilemma. Rep. Smith says the answer is very simple, "Governor, veto the bill." (Click here to listen to Pace's interview with Jane Smith.)
