BREAKING ELECTION NEWS 7-9-08 All Incumbents Qualify for Caddo Judge Races on Wed, July 9th
ELECTION 2008 NEWS 5pm 7-9-08 The first day of qualifying for local, state, parish, and federal elections, is on the books in Caddo Parish, as of 5pm Wednesday, July 9th.
According to Ernie Roberson, Caddo Parish Registrar of Voters, all the incumbent judges qualified for re-election to their respective seats. Those judgeships included City Court, Juvenile Court, and District Court seats. Others are expected to qualify by the 5pm deadline, Friday, July 11th.
The two announced candidates for Shreveport City Marshal also qualified today: Mike Van Sant, and Charlie Caldwell, Roberson said.
Also, the two announced candidates for Caddo District Attorney, former Chief Judge Charles Scott, and Shreveport Attorney Craig Smith qualifed this Tuesday, Roberson added.
