Local oilman, and CEO of Woods Operating Company, Mike Woods joins
Tom live in the Noon hour, talking about what’s causing the high cost of gasoline, and why crude oil has dropped some $22 a barrel over the past week.

KTBS-TV’s Rick Rowe also drops by to talk about how the Barnett Shale changed Fort Worth over the past 20 years, and what might happen to Northwest Louisiana because of the Haynesville Shale discovery. 

In the 11 o’clock hour, Tom welcomes in-studio, live: 4th Congressional District c
andidate John Milkovich, as he faces questions about why he  feels qualified to fill the shoes of retiring Congressman Jim McCrery. 

After winning their first-ever home playoff game last week, the Bossier-Shreveport Battlewings are now hosting a second home playoff game this Saturday night at CenturyTel, and Tom talks with Head Coach John Norris about the Battlewings tangling with the Amarillo Dusters at 7pm.  

Oh, and Tony from Minnesota pays a visit to discuss some inside news about the recent Brett Favre trade to New York.
