As far as my christian relatives, yes that would hold true for them as well. I'm not a hypocrite and to the best of my knowledge they are believers of their own free will. What's there to be confused about? Do you agree with everything every member of your family does and says? Of course you don't.....

No I don't believe and agree with alot of my family members about alot of things but I don't feel they are scum! Most people feel scum is a derogatory statement. I guess your family doesn't know that you consider them scum.
Of course maybe they do and enjoy like company!!?

Try to be honest for a second.....how many of your uncles have you spoken to today? How many of your aunts did you have lunch with yesterday? How many of your cousins are coming for a sleep over this evening?

While I will congratulate you on what you tried to do, as you can see, it wasn't very well thought out......next.

We just had a 50 member family reunion this past Sat. So for now I'm caught up with all my relatives thanks for asking though. Once again I will attempt to get an answer and NOT a question from you. Do your Christian family members know that you think they are all scum? Just a one word reply will do...Check Yes or NO.

Well that should be a calling sign that you need to start socializing with people who have something to be proud of.

I thought these people said you were smart or something?!?!?!?!

No I wasn't kidding, and leading your life in fear of the consequences of doubting imaginary beings isn't "living" your life either. Of course I suppose simple people do find simple pleasures in simple activities.

As I stated on another topic. If religion proves that "god made it that way" then your god will not be an omnipotent being, he will be a tangible entity, and more than likely, nothing more than an alien life form who tricked you into believing he was something that he is not. AND I'll have proof because he will be able to replicate the experiment with like or similar results every time, the tools of science, ya know....

This concept has been addressed numerous times on Star Trek The Next Generation with the character known simply as Q.

Basically what I've been telling you all along, that religion is a hoax specifically designed to control the ignorant masses.

I win either way, Einstein. Any more brain busters?

Imagine a christian viewing a life as irrelevant.

You reckon that's the excuse those who came before you used to justify their actions....say in Salem, Mass. for instance?

Let me tell you this about me extending a dinner invitation to Brain at this stage in his life....

#1 Hell would have to freeze over.
#2 Any questions, see #1.

Furthermore I wouldn't believe anybody getting on here under an assumed name that would say "Yep I want to go to dinner with Brain" He could get anybody even himself to do that just to prove you wrong. It would have to be a little more proof than that for me to believe it!

I have no doubt it was for nothing more than an afternoon tour guide. As far as revealing identities, sacrifice is the way of the Christian. If they don't want to reveal their identities as a result of the general response to my persona over the last week or so, then I won't either.

Yes, it IS convenient.

He just knows how to tear down not build up. There was a time when I would have wondered the same thing about him but at this point I could care less about what is going on in his empty head. Time for him to move on and take his insults and anti American anti Christian socialist ideas and hit the road and find if he can some of his own people the (tares). Well, "obviously" you come from a long line of arrogant azzholes, but hey, who am I to question your proud family traditions? And thanks for letting me out of that social invitation...the only common ground we'd have to talk about anyway would be that we BOTH agree that youre an arrogant azzhole.

Believe it or not, Einstein, intelligence isn't defined by class.

Einstein lived in poverty and near starvation even though his theory of Special Relativity, first published when he was 26 years old in 1905, and his famous E=mc^2 equation first published in 1907, profoundly changed the nature of physics.

Well I'd certainly prefer being considered low class than stupid enough to think there was a correlation between class and intelligence....

First of all, I said that goin to church was'nt likely to raise your I.Q., but that ya "might meet a better class of people there", so any correlation drawn between class and intelligence is yours, not mine...just scroll back if ya dont believe me! Ya must have a problem comprehendin written english. Secondly, ya lost any credibility ya MAY have had (and its doubtful ya ever had ANY) when ya called yourself a "confirmed catholic", then started spewin all this atheistic horse**** that has since become your trademark. You're just not sure exactly WHERE ya stand on theology, are ya? Maintainin this dialog with ya is a waste of time, but I DO find your idiocy amusin.
Well you are right about one thing. Maintaining a dialoge with a mental midget like you IS indeed a waste of time.

Hey genius, has Dr. Kevorkian lost his PhD because he broke his Hippocratic oath? Then what makes you think I can lose my Confirmation? O, that's right, you don't know what the **** your talking about.....

Hey genius, Dr. Kevorkian was an MD not PhD. PhD's don't take hippocratic oaths.

True you cannot pretend that you never believed in something you once believed in it. Some things are permenent like memories.

I also think one of the worst things you could do would be to accept Jesus and then go back on your belief and say that you were wrong.

Just like that degree he earned and the education he obtained, I have completed the process of confirmation and that cannot be taken away or given up.

Like I said, I've seen what passes for intelligence over here.

Well there's the catch, isn't it.

Technically, I don't think I was EVER a believer, but like Baptism, Confirmation is a process carried out at a very early age with children born in the catholic church. The process was completed for me in 8th grade.....well before I had concrete religious beliefs.

I would not like to have to face my Savior today and say "Well I did believe but I've turned my back on you.":nono: :nono: :nono: For me, I can't wait until the day I can see him face to face and say "Yes, you are my King."
