yup, you nailed it with that one.. Not much of a fish eater myself.. but I've caught my share of catfish, and love it fried, with french fries and hushpuppies.

TGIF everyone !!!

piemaker720 05-04-2007 08:38 PM

Yep, It's good, especially when you can thro some froglegs or fried oysters in there. Ummm. I could eat my weight in frog legs.

AnimeSpirit 05-04-2007 10:22 PM

I like catfish, perch, bass, and crappie, your typical fresh/murky water types. I can't taste the difference between them. I'm not a huge fish eater though. I can't stand deboning them.

rhertz 05-04-2007 10:33 PM

My vote is Ahi (Big Eye) Tuna, Yellow fin Tuna, Wild Caught Pacific Salmon, and White Tuna, all raw (sushi grade) and in that exact order. Followed closely by Wahoo, Sablefish, and Opakapaka (pink snapper) cooked.

You asked..... What can I say? I like fish! :D

Won't catch me eating a Gou Burger!! The only "drum fish" I eat is "redfish". But I do love fried catfish, and sac a lait (white perch) and other local fish.

piemaker720 05-04-2007 10:42 PM

Hey, I can eat fish 3 times a day.

SDBK 07-22-2007 04:29 PM

I love seared tuna! Suprisingly, Outback has the best seared tuna. It's one of their appetizer dishes. Superior Steakhouse appetizer seared tuna is good too! Very similar. Tokyo's is pretty good, but you have to really like seared tuna because it's not seasoned at all and doesn't have any sauces except of course soy sauce.
However I won't be eating any for about a year :/ but in turn I'm blessed with a BABY-on-the-way!! :) Would have given it up any day!!! :)

I will be having grilled tuna for dinner. Stick with organic and lots of veggies.
I bet in a year sushi will taste real good. Love that fish !

Hey my all time favorite fish is Big- Mouth Billy Bass. He sings Rock the Boat and Don't Worry, Be Happy. Yeh!

rhertz 07-22-2007 05:07 PM

I was checking out some crab sites, and found out that one of the stars of Deadliest Catch is now selling seafood. I bet this is some good stuff. I might have to save up and place an order soon and check it out.

We crab fishermen like salmon, tuna, red crab, giant scallops, and salted cod. :D

Here is a little glimpse of life on the Bering Sea. At least check out the big scallop at the 3:44 mark

Isaac-Saxxon 07-24-2007 01:20 PM

I can see you with those salted cods

Many tourists pay big bucks for a trip on an Alaskan cruise ship in the Bering Sea. They are served red crab, salmon, scallops, and all that good stuff. What could be more picturesque or tasty?

Not to mention that YouTube as a slide bar where you can skip right to the 3:44 mark as see a Giant Colossal Scallop! hmmmmm!
