Right up top! Just left of center at the top of the rocks.

I love hippo tangs. Perhaps my favorite aquarium fish. I once knew a guy named Dan who had a hypo tang named doc that lived for years and years.

Nice reef tank you have Morpheus ! If you run out of room just get another or larger aquarium. Very relaxing.

Thanks for all the kind comments. The truth is, I'm just another satisfied customer from Aquarium Concepts.

She is a beauty, but I know she will have to go one day-my tank is only 70 gal. One of my favorites is the flame hawkfish, who you can see on the far right peeking out from behind a rock. He seems to be the only one that is aware that there is a world outside the tank. Unless it's feeding time of course!

Hey Morpheus what kind of camera are you using ? How many mega pixels ?
Shooting through glass with a strobe is not easy. Good photos.

Its funny how the fish have their own little "personalities". I do miss my Aquariums- I still have one of my 125s, but really dont have the space to set it back up. Ahhh...One day...:D

Canon digital rebel. It's a digital SLR. "Only" six megapixels. The photos actually look better, but they are "downres'd" (I made that up) by photobucket. No flash needed thanks to the VHO's, so I just shot without one.

Hawkfish are good "personality" fish. I haven't had an aquarium in many years. But I once had a yellowtail jawfish. I saw that fish twice. First when I added him to the "rock pile". And second, the day I tore down the tank and found him live and well! But my Hawaiian Wrasse was my favorite all-time fish. This fish buried itself in the sand about 5 minutes *BEFORE* the timer cut off the lights each evening. How'd he do that?

Morpheus 10-13-2007 10:42 PM

knock knock...housekeeping

Flipped some rocks, rearranged. Caused some cave-ins. Thought I crushed a shrimp, but he's okay. The tank denizens were NOT happy.

Looking at your pictures I am so sad that I didn't take more pictures of my tanks back in the 80's and 90's... I guess I was into fish and not photography at the time. I had a longnose hawkfish that was a real personality fish at the time.

Hey it's never too late. Coralman has the hookup. I would have loved to see pics of your hawkfish.

Yes, I have the fish bug! My wife thinks I am a moron because I can stand in front of the tank for hours. I just added a new sump and protein skimmer and now I'm bummed because I am out of projects for the moment. Water quality looks stellar! I'm glad I'm not getting flamed for posting pics of my tank all of the time.

Your aquarium shots are very nice and I enjoy viewing them! Thanks for sharing!:)

If you are out of tank stuff to do, you could come to East Texas and help with little boy Belle's tank!!!!!
