Your Cell Phone Knows Where You Are!

Your cell phone spying on you, but don't be afraid. Thanks to better mapping technology and hyperlocal services tailored to the small screen, the latest wireless gadgets can automatically pinpoint your location and then direct you to everything from the nearest Chinese restaurant to where your friends are hanging out.

Wow this seems like the Matrix here

This makes me think we all need to unplug from the matrix. Big brother is watching. I sat there Sunday and watched a two hour show on UFO's after Al's post and the government has many ways of tracking things and if it is of "interest" to them they can listen to the very heart beat. Keep your eyes on the sky and big brother will keep his eye on you.

Actually, this could be exceedinly useful for the parents of teenage kids who have cell phones and stay out too late. How many parents fit this criteria? How would you all like to just take a gadget out of your pocket and pinpoint their exact location in town?

This is an advertiser's dream. Imagine walking past various stores in the mall and having coupons and on-sale advertisments flashing up on your screen. This also aids in cellular 911 calls, much like OnStar for your bicycle, motorcycle, body, etc. and not just your car. But given the close relationship between the feds and the telcoms, I'm afraid Isaac maybe be right too.

Tracking airplanes is much easier for Big Brother

This web site can track private flights if you have the tail number and other flights too and the history of that plane. Link here http://flightaware.com/live/flight/
