TheDeadPelican.com, which tracks Louisiana news and opinion, received copies of documents in which Crowley native Breaux registered to vote in Maryland. On the document, a registration form to vote in the state of Maryland, Breaux lists his home in Crowley as his "former" residence. Louisiana law requires gubernatorial candidates to have lived in the state for five consecutive years prior to the election.
