Bossier Chamber Annual Christmas Parade
 

Bossier Chamber Annual Christmas Parade rolls this Saturday December 8th at the CenturyTel Center. It kicks off at 11am and ends with the official arrival of Santa on the CenturyTel Solutions float.


The CenturyTel Center is located at 2000 CenturyTel Center Drive in Bossier City. The parade will circle the perimeter of the surrounding streets by CenturyTel. The Family Fun Area, sponsored by Huckaby Insurance, will be located in the parking lot of the CenturyTel Center and will be open from 10am until 11:30am. It will have lots of games and prizes for the kids and fabulous food.

Sponsors include: Bossier Rotary, Barksdale Federal Credit Union, Summit Executive Realty, KTBS/KPXJ/CW 21, WESLA Federal Credit Union, Capital One, Citizens National Bank and CenturyTel Solutions, Huckabay Insurance and Coventry Healthcare.

BOSSIER CHRISTMAS PARADE TRAFFIC ADVISORY

The Bossier City Police Department is advising motorists to be aware of traffic control measures that will be in place when the 2007 Bossier Christmas Parade rolls on Saturday, December 8. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will travel around the CenturyTel Center. Officers will close the parade route to traffic at approximately 10:30 a.m. The closures will be as follows:

1. Both north and south bound lanes of Arthur Ray Teague Parkway from Walker Road south to Reeves Marine Drive.

2. Reeves Marine Drive from CenturyTel Drive west to A.R.T. Parkway.

CenturyTel Drive will remain open during the parade. The parade route will go around the CenturyTel Center starting from the southeast parking lot and onto Reeves Marine Drive then west to the A.R.T. Parkway. The parade then heads north on the A.R.T. Parkway to the CenturyTel Center’s north side service road where it will travel east and end in the northeast parking lot of the CenturyTel Center.
