I have often looked for the "income tax" laws. The IRS says they are laws but I can never find them. Personally, I think we should have to pay taxes...ALL OF US. I am a strong proponent of the "Fair Tax" where the federal taxes would be a sales tax. I calculated that right now I pay out 48% of my income in taxes, be it income tax, sales tax, property tax, or whatever. To me that is way too much. There has to be a better way.

I don't mind paying taxes. I usually get money back. :D It's a good motivation to file my taxes way ahead of time.
