Immigration Agreement Is Close
 

A bipartisan group of senators and White House officials are scrambling to reach an elusive agreement to fortify the border and grant quick legal status to millions of illegal immigrants living in the U.S.

On one of the articles it stated if the reform passed the immirgrants would have 5 years to pay a $5,000 fine. Why should they give them 5 years? That seems like that is too much time to allow them to pay the fine.

A deal has been reached.

I hope there is a clause in there that says if they stop working and paying taxes, the get instantly deported.
