Hundreds of miles away from the threat of Gulf Coast hurricanes, people have turned a piece of nature just a short walk away from a thoroughfare into a recreational retreat.

They have cleaned up the trash but who would want to swim in a sewerage ditch ? That sandbar is just south of the Bossier affluent pipe and would be the last place to go swimming. I agree with Tbelle best to go to the real beach for swimming and leave that river full of PCB's alone :clap:
