Court Impacts Anti-Terrorism Strategy
A divided panel from a conservative federal appeals court delivered a harsh rebuke to the Bush administration's anti-terrorism strategy Monday, ruling that U.S. residents cannot be locked up indefinitely as "enemy combatants" without being charged.

Good. An attack on the Constitution from the inside is much more of a threat than any attack on our country from the outside. The idea that the Executive branch can suspend Habeas Corpus (If Lincoln can't get away with it when there's a war blazing on our own soil why did Bush think he could when there isn't?) is ludicrous.

Exactly. "I'm a citizen" should always be an airtight defense against being excluded from Constitutional protections
