Odor-Ban bill targeting Shreveport plant doesn't pass senate

A bill aimed at regulating odors coming from a Shreveport rendering plant died in Louisiana Senate committee.

I would say that the people that voted that down do not have to drive by or live near that protein plant :nono: :nono: It is much worse than a chicken house :eek:

"Not Guilty" ?? NOT GUILTY ??? of what? They're certainly guilty of stinkin' up the city from Hearne Ave all the way up to Milam street. And the warmer it gets outside, the worse it seems to get.

Yeah that takes a stretch of the imagination if not a total disregard for reality. Perhaps they will find a dozen people willing to accept cash to say that they actually like the smell! I would not be surprised.
