Heat Takes A Toll - People In The South Continue On

I would like to say a big thanks to all the workers that have no choice but to work out of doors this time of year! I do NOT know how they can possilbly sustain the heat! And yes even though those streets under construction are a pain they will be road ready sooner due to those poor heat exhausted laborers! It is appreciated!:D
Now I don't have sympathy for people who CHOOSE to jog at noon...they are insane!!!!!!!! Drink lots of water!:peace:

well, my youngest came home with a note..."due to the heat..." Anyhoo, No School for that one till Monday:(

Because of the unairconditioned bus or are they having problems with the school's a.c? That is highly unusual!:confused:

We're turning these kids into a generation of namby pamby wussies...the un-air conditioned busses were good enough for us, they're good enough for these pampered lil bastards!

I agree about the school busses-I've heard Rush call it "the Feminization of america":laugh: :laugh:
As far as Working in the heat, I spend about $20.00/day on gatorade!

yeah its ok to have unairconditioned buses but leave your dog in the car with water and the window cracked and the police will be called..... I really need a politicly correct manual to go by.. :D

No joke kids have indoor airconditioned soccer fields these days.. What's next? Six Flags Under the Dome Over Texas? :D
