Refinery and Auto Manufacturing Plant Deals Pending for Louisiana

The governor today will meet with the chairman of Toyota in Tokyo to pitch the state's new megasite in Richland Parish for an auto-manufacturing plant.

Blanco is on a trade mission to Japan, China and Taiwan, during which she will sign an agreement for the construction of a $1 billion Synfuel plant announced last year for Ascension Parish.
