A woman forced an 83-year-old housemate to smoke crack cocaine so she could steal personal information to get a credit card and run up more than $3,000 in charges, authorities said

This makes no sense to me. Instead of forcing the 83 year old to smoke crack, why not force her to give up the personal information in the first place, and then keep the crack for use later on!

I think it would be harder to force me to smoke crack than it would be to force me to give you my wallet (with SSN, Lic#, credit cards, etc.)
