I am not arguing for sending more troops. My point is that blaming Bush is like blaming our system of government which "we the people" manage. it's like blaming Blanco for the Katrina response. "We" voted her into office in the first place. And all her predecessors as well. So where does the blame lie? I think it lies with the voters, at least in some part. Democrat or Republican, a President is given 4 years by the people. I say give any President his term. and if a democrat is elected next year, do the same.

Well maybe so.

I have my whacked out liberal side as well. hehehe Ok, lets see, there are about 180,000 troups over there. and about 3k have been killed since '03. Lets say 1k per year. that is about 1 in 180. Ok you win! However my point was not that the ratios are the same, but that driving is dangerous and people get killed. At what point is a death unacceptable? 40,000 people per year is a lot. But driving on fossil fuels is as "All American" as it gets so we do it anyway. I guess war is different.
