Me personally, I don't care much for gambling at the riverboats. I've maybe spent $40 total at a casino. But I do head that way for some of the entertainment, catch a live band.

The Casino's have helped Bossier schools and roads and many other things. Shreveport takes the money and builds parking lots on the red and the Hightower Hilton what a boondoggle
There are always those who can not handle temptation and the Casino's are there 24/7 to help them loose their money but so is video poker and many other things. Good post LN I do not give them my money but I have been down their and lost when they opened only to find out that gambling is not for me.
