A man convicted of murdering four children with an assault rifle was executed Wednesday, becoming the first Tennessee inmate put to death by electrocution since 1960.

I am all for the death penalty but I think firing squad or a short rope would do just fine. They might as well toss him in hot oil

I can see where it would work as a deterrent.

Back in my day they just hungem from a tree. We didn't ask no questions. Sometimes they got the wrong man but they figured it was just a matter of time before he did something wrong anyway.
