17 Local Law Officers Were Arrested in 2007

17 officers from six jurisdictions were jailed in 2007; 9 from the Shreveport Police Department and 3 from the Bossier City Police Department

This is insane! No wonder there's so much difficulty getting a handle on local crime when so many of the officers are crooks themselves!

You'd think it was New Orleans or New York with these disappointing stats!

Of those 17 arrests, two have already had charges dropped and most are still awaiting trial, so it's premature to label all of the 15 as criminals.
