snow and pickett The infamous Blue Goose Hill. Actually low-lands. Memphis blues were lullabies compared to Blue Goose blues. The store was demolished in about 1942 and The Silver Slipper was built there.

There were lots of stores like that once upon a time. Its been a long time since I sat on a porch and drank an RC cola...

I always thought it was a bit odd, busing kids that far off to school. So far SOUTH... but I remember it being a good school. Played a little football and basketball for the "Demons".

So is Elm Grove still the Demons ? or did they have to change that in this world of Political Correctness ?
