Growing Schools But Too Many Academically Unacceptable!
Linwood Middle School in Shreveport is academically unacceptable — and it's not alone.
That campus and 11 other inner-city schools in the Caddo public school system are labeled academically unacceptable, the state Education Department said Thursday. |

We need one giant neighborhood school that covers the whole district and 10 magnet schools so we'll only have one academically unacceptable school. Run the big one like a prison.
Whom am I kidding? We don't have enough smart kids to fill 10 magnet schools. |

I think we should outsource school administration to the private sector just like we do prisons.
