The Red River is a natural environment for gators and these smaller gators measuring just under five feet long will have a better chance of survival there.

I can not believe they would release gators at the Jimmie Davis bridge ? I wonder how long before they make it into the park or in a neighborhood. I think the port area would be a better place to release them. I guess it was just a easy place to release them. Good enough for government work.

I thought the very same thing! Taking away from one BC neighborhood and releasing VERY close to another is not very bright. I hope he just jumped in and swam North very swiftly!

I found it strange also. I thought where they released them was too close to the swimming areas, parks, and launches. I guess when he takes a bite of a human leg they will rethink this.
