Trick or Treat??
What were some of your favorite candies from the past?
What about your least favorites? I'll start remember how fun those wax harmonicas and those weird liquid bottles were?

I remember the wax things and I never did like those peanut butter logs. I did like the taffy.

Growing up I liked the old Mars bars that had whole almonds in them (two rows). Nowadays they use ground almonds and I'm betting a lot less of them.
I also like the single Reese's cups for a nickle, probably because they cost a nickle instead of a dime like everything else (full size) Other favs were candy cigarettes, chick'n sticks, Chunky's, and Milk Duds... Ms Hertz loved Mallo Cups and the sugar candy necklaces. Slo Pokes and Black Cows were awesome. The worse candies back then were sugar dots stuck on paper, good'n Plenty. Goobers are my absolute favorite. I didn't care for licorice sticks.. Just thinking of double bubble and bazooka bubblegum makes my teeth itch. Blowpops came later and were revolutionary.. |

I love Stork Chocolate Reesens. Those things rocked, but they were HARD.
I hated the peanut logs and the candy corn.

I used to hate that peanut butter taffy that is cheap and comes wrapped in orange and black but tried some last year and liked it. A bit rough on the teeth though!
