Braggin Rights....
Every now and then I like to compare my @ home internet connection against the connection speed of my "peers". So click the image and pick the server closest to you. These are my results from the Dallas server.....I usually get download speeds up to 16k but I guess the net is still pretty busy since it's not quitting time yet.
Last Result: Download Speed: 12442 kbps (1555.3 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 1072 kbps (134 KB/sec transfer rate) |

I have the business connection which started out at 4k, then it was supposed to be upgraded to 9k. Well, about 2 weeks went by so I called tech support to see why my account hadn't been upgraded. When the guy found out it was my home connection and not actually a business, he bumped me up to 16. Of course my TV/Internet cable bill is $103 and some change every month too! |
