US Checking Toothpaste From China

The Food and Drug Administration has no evidence that contaminated toothpaste has made its way into the United States but is taking the step as a precaution, agency spokesman Doug Arbesfeld said.

Why in the world are importing toothpaste from China? I personally do not buy anything made in China if at all possible. In the short term it may be cheaper to buy Chinese, but in the long term I think it is going to be a lot more costly if we don't buy American.

I am an Arm and Hammer man myself.
Yeah Chinese inports are going to do us in. The US has gone from a nation of production to a nation of service providers. Pretty soon all those jobs will be farmed out to India.
