Why should this surprise anyone he is after all a politician? Just think he even got re-elected last year. I've always heard only a crook and get elected.

William "Cold Cash" Jefferson needs to be in jail for a very long time along with fast Eddie.
I think Angola would be a good place for him.

This should be interesting. How many times was Edwards indicted before he was finally convicted? Is Jefferson as popular as Edwards?

I, for one, would like to express shock and outrage at the suggestion that there was some something shady going on with a deal involving both a Louisiana politician and the country of Nigeria. If those traditional paragons of virtue are now suspect, what in this world isn't?
