New Marina In The Works At The Boardwalk
A full-service marina and a floating restaurant could be operating just north of the Louisiana Boardwalk within a year if the plans of four local men fall into place.

I think a new marina down town would be a waste of time. The river has two marinas that are not doing that much business. The new one at the port is about half full as far as the boat stalls go. Last weekend I was out at the port marina and there were only three boats out. It is private investment so they can go for it. When my tax dollars start paying for it I will not be happy.

Well that should be lucrative for the Bass Pro Shop and the Boardwalk in general.
The Boardwalk is a very nice facility and I'd like to see it continue to succeed guess this is part of new growth.

Things on the Bossier side seem to succeed whereas things on the Shreveport side often fail for some reason.
