That is a nice looking ship. It would be so cool to get that thing here and dock it on the river as a museum. My kids would freak every time we drove by.

Great Idea. We drive through Mobile, AL when going to Florida and the kids always gawk at the battleship moored in the harbor. Maybe some day we will actually stop and go inside. Seems like we are always in a total rush when highway driving. Just want to get there.....

That ship in Mobile is awesome. It's airconditioned now which makes it nice. they also have a cool airplane museum there.

I wonder if it would fit through the locks. Wikipedia says it has a 22' draft, can we do that here? It's also 548' long, but I'm pretty sure we can do that.

Good point Joe. The Red can be as deep as 70' feet at spots but then there are sections under 22' deep. I don't think The Super Gater could make it.
