Everybody in the city is in the same tax bracket sales tax-wise.
Why would anybody not vote ? What about our friend Stelly the tax man. Not
everybody pays the same sales tax. You can go to Bossier to shop and pay more or out of the city limits and pay less or out of state and pay nothing on tax free days. I find it hard to take anybody serious that does not vote it kind of taints anything they write or say. I know if I did not vote I would not tell anyone ! Sounds like a socialist idea. Issac |

Chief of police retires
Shreveport's Police Chief Has Retired From The Department
I wonder if that has anything to do with our new mayor ? I guess that's pretty typical is it not ? for a mayor to pick his chief of police ? |

Al, for what its worth, IMHO, in an "all volunteer" military, those who serve are casting their ultimate vote. Thanks for serving but don't expect me to call you a "great american", but only because of Hannity. You know what I mean. I'll just call you a great "Early American" from the old West.. LOL, I must buy the Deadwood series and learn more about Al S.

LOL Rhertz, yeah, I get alot of mileage out of my vet status...its one of the benefits of having served. I can sometimes use it to make up for any change Im short when purchasing a tasty snack or beverage, and its particularly effective in situations such as these, where I can use it to pummel my detractors into submission

I was sort of surprised to see him on the ballot for Congress. I liked his platform. |

Yeah, I knew about ole Chester's standing offer of a free catfish dinner..hes been doin that for some time now, and ya gotta admit, its one hell of a marketin device. I've never taken him up on it, as I rarely have my DD214 with me. Would've loved to see him unseat McCrery, but alas, twas not to be.
