Chief of police retires

Shreveport's Police Chief Has Retired From The Department

I wonder if that has anything to do with our new mayor ?
I guess that's pretty typical is it not ? for a mayor to pick his chief of police ?

Yes Isaac, what would the neighbors think? Oh, the ignominy, Isaac, the ignominy...oh, the scandal! Ok, in the first place I pay my share of the taxes here and I've lived here as long or longer than either of ya, plus Im a veteran so if its ok with you two, I'll just ***** about our government anytime the mood strikes, ok? How bout them apples? I wont go into the reasons why I didnt vote, but I wont lose any sleep over havin missed it. So Jones is a great guy, Isabella? Is he a great guy because ya know him personally, because he paid ya to say that, or because of his party affiliation? Isaac, by your own admission ya dont even live here, and I wont even mention your atrocious spelling and punctuation and how that might taint anything you say or write (OOPS!) I'm just beside myself with grief since Isabella says I dont have the right to complain and Isaac cant take me seriously...hope this doesnt mean they want me to get a number tat on my arm and a free "relocation" trainride. Ya dont have any large community shower stalls ya want me to step into, do ya?

Al, for what its worth, IMHO, in an "all volunteer" military, those who serve are casting their ultimate vote. Thanks for serving but don't expect me to call you a "great american", but only because of Hannity. You know what I mean. I'll just call you a great "Early American" from the old West.. LOL, I must buy the Deadwood series and learn more about Al S.

LOL Rhertz, yeah, I get alot of mileage out of my vet status...its one of the benefits of having served. I can sometimes use it to make up for any change Im short when purchasing a tasty snack or beverage, and its particularly effective in situations such as these, where I can use it to pummel my detractors into submission

You can always get your free catfish dinner on veterans day from ole Chester Kelly at Cresent Landing Catfish restaurant. I was sort of surprised to see him on the ballot for Congress. I liked his platform.

Yeah, I knew about ole Chester's standing offer of a free catfish dinner..hes been doin that for some time now, and ya gotta admit, its one hell of a marketin device. I've never taken him up on it, as I rarely have my DD214 with me. Would've loved to see him unseat McCrery, but alas, twas not to be.
