I remember I was a little girl on vacation at the beach and watching this grainy shot on tv. We were all blown away watching history in the making.

I've heard all of the stories about how the moon landing couldn't have taken place. It's bull. None of the theories are solid. We landed on the moon!

For those of you who have not seen it, I highly recommend the DVD series (originally on HBO) called "From the Earth to the Moon". It is narrated by Tom Hanks and starts with Al Shepard's first Mercury flight and ends with Apollo 17. It is a very inspirational series with about 8 or 10 episodes, something like that.
