Parkway is one school in Shreveport/ Bossier I would not have a problem sending my son too. Now I would not send him to Byrd, Shreve, Southwood, or Magnet.

I would have to concur..there are worse schools than Parkway. I attended Parkway, but I actually graduated from Byrd. Though I never stepped foot into Byrd, it sure does look like a neat school to attend. Really nice campus.
Ms. Jackson, why not try Bossier? Just across the river, has good schools, and there IS affordable housing to be found for under $600.00/month, such as duplexes, manufactored housing and the like. Nothin fancy of course, but livable.

Wow, A PARKWAY reunion! Class of '89 here!
I loved it- We're about to get a new one less than a mile from me. However, this is not the part of town to be looking for cheap housing. Good luck, just stay out of the shreveport system and you'll be o.k.![]() |
