There really is no comparison. Luckily nobody in my family has brought shame upon it by publicly admitting to regularly watch American Idol. There is no better way to say "I am a mindless nothing" than to admit as such.

If I followed a weekly porn competition I would be just as ashamed as if I followed American Idol. There is nothing wrong with porn or singing, but investing time and effort into the outcome of people you don't know and can't influence is sad.

I just thought of one. If you ever say "Al Gore really won the 2000 election, Bush stole it." That's a better way to say "I am a mindless nothing."

Morals are acceptable standards in a given society.

In my group of friends, you would be laughed at for watching American Idol and quoting the Bible.

Likewise, I doubt any of your friends enjoy drinking beer and watching wrestling.

That certainly doesn't make either one of us better than the other, and I suspect you enjoy pleasures of the flesh just as much as the next person....unless you've joined a convent since we last chatted

That's your group of friends, mine would not laugh at your pornography views but feel sorry if you were in some type of relationship w/ a wife/gf/sigother.

You don't know my friends apparently and yes we all drink beer sociably I am not here to judge anyone Brain but giving my opinions. You can try to judge me all you want I personally don't care. I can defend anything and will be upfront and honest on everything. No I don't watch wrestling I quit when I was 19 due to the fact of the fakeness of it. I really don't like many sports other than Ice Hockey.
