If someone offered me a million dollars to eat liver and onions I would refuse! I would not eat squid, or sushi either. The grossest thing I ever ate was my mother-in-law's cornbread dressing.

The grossest thing I have ever eaten is an oyster. I tried one when I was 15 years old (yes Isaac that was 25 years ago!) and it was just the worst thing ever. BRRHHHH who wants to eat something that looks like a giant cow booger? Not me. Never will eat one again.

My best friend's daughter was on Fear Factor (she won!) and had to eat fermented squid guts. She said it was so horrible you can't imagine. Well I can imagine what I would do if I had to eat it!

No, she is deceased now. I always made sure we did not go visit on holidays, so I would not have to be rude.

Mother-in-law will try to poison you with out dated food

I try not to eat anything my mother-in-law has out or on the table. She does not throw stuff away. I would run up to Sonic or something but no more poison from her table. I am glad my dear wife did not pick up that trait. Well not yet anyway

Watch out for bagged spinach salads!

Unfortunately the absolute worst thing I have ever eaten was a green stink bug hidden inside a bag of Popeyes spinach! I never even saw it just bit right in and was totally repulsed by an indescribable bitterness! When I spit it out I couldn't believe my eyes! Where's Kirby Kelly when you need him?

Kirby Kelly!!!! Do I have a story about him!!!

All I can say (since he is an attorney) is watch out for him in Superior Steakhouse! He certainly provided my girlfriends and I with some entertainment to watch and laugh at.

Sorry. :footinmouthL

What is it about the holidays.. seems they're always full of added stress.
Speaking of Mother-in-laws, mine is alright, but I also have a step-mother-in-law.. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED !!!

For those of you that have Friday off. TGIT !!!

oyster anyone

For me this rates right up there on the top of my list of never eat. This is the only food that I could not actually swallow. I think it could be the slimmy texture that gets me.
You know, many people are repulsed by the texture of foods not the taste.
For instance, the oyster if I remember correctly had no distinct taste.
Where as horseraddish the texture is good for me, but the taste takes my breath away. Not a "bad" taste more like a fire taste.

I guess that means fear factor is out for me! They're always fixin' that slimmy stuff. I could most likely handle the hissing cockroaches.

LOL, nope, don't think I could handle any Raw Oysters myself.. just the thought.. ughh.. But my grandmother from Nawlins used to make this Oyster dressing for Thanksgiving.. that was just out of this world ! Admittedly, this was nothing much to look at. Not very appealing as far as looks. But DAMN it was good.
Glad to say my mother carried on this tradition, and so has the wife

That's pronounced "Ershter Dressin'"

Aiiiieeeeeeeee

Liver and squid are the 2 things that gross me out more than anything. I have tried sushi and I can't think of what's in it or I won't eat it.
