Should SBLive! drop its "reputation point" system?

The system is flawed. reformat. reboot. if you can't take the heat,,, go see a psychiatrist and grow a backbone

I say keep it. It lets members know how others feel about their posts. It appears only one member out of hundreds had a problem with it.

Yes, but they used others to help abuse the system and manipulate it in their favor. Did you notice that person's number jump over 150 points or something like that the other night? Now how did that happen?

You know the kind you got when you were a kid on your paper for doing good in school. Positive reenforcement

Or when you get a shot at the doctor ? Tell some one it is OK or good and they might just believe you

So as for the point system well look around I do not see any body at the top or bottom leaving anytime soon

Actually, the scale icon is still there and it still works. It looks like just the numbers are gone. The little green boxes are part of the rep system too though.

The point viewing is gone, however, the rep button is ever present and useless!

To those receiving all the positive rep they can handle from friends and fans, sure. But to those getting constantly downed just because people would rather them appear less credible by this little button system being displayed under their name, it's a less glamorous way of showing your personality.

I say change it to allow the user being +/- repped to view who gave them the reputation, and make it required to state a reason for each reputation given.
