This statement seems a bit hypocritical after reading your feelings regarding the atheist teacher who was attacked. Was that his own fault too? There's a reason people "attack" athiests, right?

Of course it was his own fault. Just like if you get mugged walking down a dark ally at midnight THAT would be your fault too.

Just because the teacher has every legal right to express his religious beliefs, that doesn't make his classroom the proper place to express them. HOWEVER, the mistake on part of the teacher doesn't justify the ILLEGAL act of violence perpetrated by the Marine. If he found the teachers actions offensive, he could have spoken up, left the classroom, even filed a grievance with the department head (remember, separation of church and state?). Instead he chose to use violence.

I understand your point, however I do not think that if someone drives to a hospital at night and is mugged in a dark alley or parking lot or whatever at midnight, that would be his fault. If he was walking into a bar and he was mugged in an alley or parking lot, I still don't think that would be his fault. Now if he was walking into a crackhouse, then OK, you got me!

I suppose if you choose to walk into what you know is a hostile environment, then you would share some blame for doing so. However, this does not justify the existance of unnecessary hostile environments (i.e. dark alleys and bad neighborhoods).

But is every alley really hostile? I think it's because of the generalization and hype that people get from outside media and from a particular personal experience. I like to venture into these sorts of would-be scary areas of town, and I find it fascinating. I've run into some very interesting people in the crevices of Shreveport, and I've never been harmed. Sure, I've been threatened, and that's all fine and good, but they have the personal choice to do so, I like to communicate with other people as human beings, instead of assuming their entire message and life story before even meeting them.

You keep buying your dope in back alleys and you will meet a bitter end. You sure sound like you could use some help. Open your eyes boy this world will eat you with out a burp. Sad is what this is very sad our youth think this the way it should be not all youth but I have a nephew that has been down this trail and he is still there after years of "being in control" he thought and now in and out of rehabs that teach him how to get his junk and hide it too. Maybe there are truths to things you're not aware of, mainly because, you're not aware of it. It appears you and others are continually subjecting yourselves to a daily treatment of Christian propaganda, rather than purposefully experiencing the intellect of other human beings, you know, those lesser peoples who don't believe in your Imaginary Friend.

Oh, and, by the way, if you weren't aware also, your Christian God, Allah, Jehovah, and all other Abrahamic sects believe in the, get this: same deity. If you also weren't aware, Jesus is the most quoted prophet in the Qu'ran, read up sometime, and stop prejudicing against persons you don't even truly know about, the fact is, you just don't care, and that's all the satisfaction you need.
