I do believe ya'lls former mayor is also quite infamous around Shreveport for his escapes with a married woman.

You don't pay hookers to sleep with you, you pay them to go away afterwards.

I read most of the latest story. Looks like he wanted one night stands with no strings attached. You might say he has family values. LOL. Sad, if this ruins his career. I felt like the Clinton/Monika story should not have had the press it did. It was his and Hilary's business. Clinton should have fessed up in the beginning. I think this is why it went on and on. Monika was an idiot to go before Congress and tell them what she did. She owed no one anything.
Please understand, I do not condone adultry!

I dont condone adultery either. I'll go one step further and admit that I support Vitter mainly because he is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, and I will continue to support him just as the libs supported Clinton when his sexual antics came to light.

Is there any politician that does not have some bones in the closet ? If they did not have faults they would be perfect. I only know of ONE that is perfect and it is not Vitter. If he is repentant and his wife accepts his remorse and apologies than it should end there. The political head hunters will never quit and that is just a part of the political game.

I like to think that I base my vote on the issues and the past voting record, rather than the man or the party. Who makes a better politician? a good man with a bad voting record, or a bad man with a good voting record?

Texasbelle, I would hide, too! Wonder why politicians don't learn from others mistakes? Did Vitter's wife live with him in DC or did she stay behind in La.?

[quote=Isabella]Well, I would like to have both.......a good man with a good voting record.
Me too Isabella! Those guys never seem to win here in LA. Why is that? OR we think they are good then this kind of a situation occurs. I don't know it's just so disheartening.
