Yes but the head is cooked so therefore the brain is too. When I would go to the lake I would see a rabbit and would stop to kill it. I woud then skin it [or has some say pull the fur off] I would build me a fire up, stick a stick through the rabbit, a little salt or seasoning, and roast the rabbit until done. It was so good! Squrriel I've had fried or smothered in gravy, both good.
