Long live ‘The King!’ That’s the Elvis Angels Fan Club way of celebrating the life of
The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley. Presley’s birthday was actually January 8th, 1935…but this celebration was scheduled for this Saturday in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Elvis would have been 73 this year. Dianne Patrick, President of the Elvis Angels Fan Club invites the public to Shreveport’s Municipal Auditorium this Saturday from 1p-3p to help celebrate the life of that truck-drivin’ guitar-picker from Tupelo, Mississippi.

The Happy Birthday Elvis celebration is free, and the public will be treated to cake, punch, and Elvis Presley movies…plus, sharing and swapping stories about having seen and talked with the King when he appeared on the stage of the Municipal Auditorium on The Louisiana Hayride from 1954-1955
