My newspaper never arrived today. I waited a while to give them a chance in case they slipped up due to the time change. I found a customer service number in the phone book. After punching in numerous numbers and codes I finally got a place to leave an address that they had missed a delivery. I got a robot voice saying that my paper would be deducted from my bill and that I'd receive a paper asap. I still wanted to talk to someone so tried punching the operator and of course they were unavailable! No paper ever showed up! I would think they could get their act together due to a decline in business! We are getting closer to cancelling altogether!

Bummer.. I gave up on the Times long long time ago. They used to call and ask "would you like to subscribe to the times?" I'd say yeah, they would deliver like one of them, then never show up again. This happened several times. When they call now and ask, I say "why bother, you won't deliver it!" not that I want or have time to read the paper anyways. just read most of my news online. |

I've tried reading online but some of the local articles I can't find. A couple of times I've searched the Times for articles that were in the actual paper but nowhere to be found on their website or others websites. I do get alot of my news from SB Live though!

It is impossible* for a newspaper to censor news in an area. Self-censorship is not censorship.
*well, maybe if its employees somehow prevented other people from dispensing news. I'm envisioning some sort of ninja squad |

I quit taking the paper a long time ago, but Mrs. Hurl will go get one on Sunday. As usuall The Times ran stories it had already run during the week. My favorite was a political cartoon on one page and if you missed it there just turn the page there it is again next to an article that ran Fri. |

I forgot to mention that Glenn Guilbeau did a fine report on something that did not even happen. He reported that Matt Flynn got shaken up on a play and had to come off the feild. The backup QB Hatch was brought in, after Matt was "revived" he was able to come back on.
BS this did not happen. Matt's chin strap broke and he had to have it replaced. Glenn were you even watching the game?, Or were you so busy drooling over your hero Saban that you missed part of the game? |

In the six months that ended Sept. 25, The New York Times' daily circulation was down another 4.51 percent to about a million readers a day. The paper's Sunday circulation was down 7.59 percent to about 1.5 million readers. In short, the Times is dropping faster than Hillary in New Hampshire. (Meanwhile, the Drudge Report has more than 16 million readers every day.)
