I wonder what makes the leaves fall in Autumn? Is it the trees sensing colder temperatures, or else are the trees sensing the shorter days and longer nights?
If it was (a) colder temps, then "global warming" might affect trees in fall. But if the fall event is based on shorter days, then that never changes even with global warming. LOL, I just wondered if the leaves would fall at all if it never froze at all one winter? |
