Jindal advisers urge ban on free tickets for legislators
Wednesday, January 16, 2008By Jan Moller
BATON ROUGE -- State legislators should be barred from receiving free tickets to concerts and sporting events, and financial disclosure requirements should apply to all levels of government, including judges and local officials, according to a report released Tuesday. The recommendations are among 17 suggestions from a transition advisory council that Gov. Bobby Jindal appointed to guide his administration as it seeks to overhaul Louisiana's ethics laws in a special session scheduled to start Feb. 10. http://www.nola.com/news/t-p/frontpa...810.xml&coll=1
