Miles faces must win
Les Miles didn't need this. He didn't need Ryan Perrilloux going on, let's say, a bye-week escapade the week of A BIG GAME, the BIGGEST in Miles three seasons as coach of the LSU Tigers.
Miles already had watched defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey, the highest future draft pick on his football team, reduced to a knee-brace-wearing participant for Saturday's game against Alabama by, guess what, an illegal chop-block by a member of the Auburn Tigers that could have ended Dorsey's college career and placed a dark cloud over his life as a professional. http://blog.nola.com/updates/2007/11..._must_win.html Steely Dan - Deacon Blues http://www.ktbs.com/news/LSU-fans-ge...at-Saban-6181/

Well the mighty Evangel Eagles were dealt a blow last night with a defeat by Calvary. So I am counting on a defeat today by LSU of the mighty Saban.

LSU-Alabama Prediction - Tom Pace
I believe it's LSU 35-32 over 'Bama.
Les is more in this game. Saban's Tide puts up a valiant fight, but the Tigers prevail @ the end. |

7:33 to go LSU-'Bama The Tide Rolls the Tigers 34-27
Tied @ 27 all @ 7:51 left in the game- and it seems Les & Company want to find a way to GIVE THE Game to Saban. Why oh Why, Les, do you try to get fancy with inches to go on 4th down...
***FYI: 1st punt return for a TD against LSU for a TD since 1999. LSU has to get a grip if they're going to come back for the win. |

LSU Gets the Grip - Jacob (Freight Train) Hester broadsides the 'Bama Truck
It's all over!! Les Miles, Jacob Hester & The Cardiac Kids pull out the Come-From-Behind Win: LSU 41-34 over the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Proves Tide's no match for new improved Cheer: "Geaux Tigers!!!" OK I predicted 35-32 LSU (I'll take this as close as I could get.) Tell me what you think. Tom Pace Last edited by Tom Pace; 11-03-2007 at 08:35 PM. Reason: wrong score in post |

That was one heck of a game.. LSU tried as hard as they could to GIVE that game away.. LSU's defense and Shreveport's own Hester come through in the end ! You were close there Tom.. LSU comes through in the end.
Now if the Saints could just make it 4 in row wins tomorrow.. it'll be a very successful weekend !! GEAUX TIGERS |
