Severe thunderstorms hit east Bossier City this morning

You're not joking! I just drove down Industrial and several power poles are snapped in two like toothpicks! Mobile homes are turned on their sides. Commercial signs and billboard sheets are on the ground. That area will be waiting a few days for power to come back on.

Awesome! Now, where was Carriage Oaks again? I kept hearing that name after tha storm, but I have no idea where it is.

Last week I spoke to a friend whose uncle's house was one of those distroyed in Bossier and pictured on the news. My friend said he was impressed with the response towards this disaster. I'm glad to see it in the news when we do get it right. I'm tired of the Katrina disaster being two disasters, one a weather disaster and the other an ongoing governmental disaster.
