I'll probably be running my sprinklers more now. Here's why. With reduced water pressure, my sprinkler system won't reach as far as it used to, and now misses the middle of my yard. So now I'm gunna have to lug out the old hose and sprinkler head into the middle of the yard and let er rip. But without a timer, I will probably let it run too long and use more water than I would if the timer were doing its job.

In fact, cutting back on pressure, THEN asking us to conserve on top of that is a double slap. Why not pick one or the other. (because they are that deep in need is why)

Meanwhile plumbers are putting pamplets on doorknobs advertising expensive devices that overcome low water pressure. Maybe the "water conservation" aspect of this is to make folks feel guilty for "going around" the problem for themselves. And for the businesses who sell them.
